Ask to see the old part. This is not only a way to remember what the real Lexus part looks like, but also to prove they did the work they promised. By looking at the old part you can see they really did remove the one you asked them to. You can also look at that in comparison to the new one to see that they both look like the same brand.

Just because you have been able to afford a nice car doesn't mean you should be treated like a victim when you head into the auto shop. Insist on genuine Lexus auto parts and double check the service to make sure you are getting what you paid for.
